Frustrated
Im supposed to learn Swahili in 10 days before leaving for my host family in a village called Usangi. I don't get it. It seams to me to be a language made out of consonants and weird, unpronounceable sounds. My head hurts and im constantly tired. I want to learn!!!! Why cant there be a way to program your brain to so that you can learn the languages you want. Just connect it to a machine aor something?? angry!!! stupid, stupid language!!! im sooo lost....

Sheesh! It's always a tough task to learn a new language, particularly one like Swahili. Wh don't you just try learning some basic sentences and then, pick it up eventually once you go there?
When are you leaving, by the way? It's been ages since we talked! Hope we'll be able to stay in touch. :D

Yes im already here!! and its great! Sooo hot though, and this is like winter time...dont know how im gonna survive the summer..Havent visited to many places yet, only staied in Dar es Salaam untill now, im leaving for Usangi (where I went last time) in 4 days and then ill stay there for 2 months!!! And im gonna work in a kindergarden there, cant wait!!! The kids here are sooo cute=) sure we'll stay in touch, now worries (hakuna matata :p) ill send you mails when i get acces to internet (wich probably wont be very often), and i wanna hear how youre doing too!!!
